Identity Development
Thomas Brothers is an artisan producer of small-batch sparkling alcoholic cider.
Based in Nothern California they use heirloom apples from Sonoma County. All the apples are hand-picked, pressed, slow-fermented, and aged in neutral red wine oak barrels. Using a French technique, the cider undergoes a second fermentation process after it is bottled. Once bottled, this additional step produces carbon dioxide—the engine behind that bubbly mouthfeel in sparkling wine and Champagne.
Once they had perfected their product they were ready to go to market, selling direct to consumers, restaurants, and bars. They needed a logo, label, and visual identity that reflected the history, vision, and commitment to making “Damn good cider.”
Thomas Henry and Jason Thomas are the Thomas Brothers. They selected Zooka to explore and create a visual identity for their company that included multiple product labels, a website, social media, and marketing efforts.
We worked with Thomas and Jason to understand their history, process, and values using our “Zooka 3Ps” methodology and collaborate on a logo and supporting visuals for their business.
